Who are we?
A passion for Snowmobiling sparked the idea of Advanced Control Systems back in 1978.
ACS began as a small hobby machine shop in a garage producing snowmobile parts for its race team.
Friends and competitors were soon asking for ACS runners, and this demand was the genesis of taking the “hobby” to another level.
In a short time, that notion became a reality as sales quickly increased and runners became a regular production item.
Larger, dedicated plant space was found, and more equipment was added.
As the company grew, evolved, and relocated once again, other product lines were added
which included additional Snowmobile wear parts as well as a selection of tools, all to great success.
Manufacturing a quality product at a competitive price helped grow the ACS brand through Canadian distribution channels.
ACS has also been involved in product development and manufacturing with Yamaha Canada, a relationship which continues to the present.
Today ACS is an industry leader that provides CNC Turning, Miling, MIG & TIG Welding, Bending and Assembly.
The pressure from low-cost Asian manufacturers and importers is constant, but we view it as an honour to place” Proudly Made in Canada” on our packaging.

ACS is a full-service machine shop manufacturing high-precision machined part. We do short or long runs, with a high degree of quality at a competitive price.

We are a Tier II manufacturer of components essential to the transmission of electricity in Ontario.
- Conveyor System Products
Advanced Control Systems Corporation is Tier one supplier to a world-leading safety specialist that provides reliable, innovative, and cost-effective working-at-height solutions and services. These solutions are used in many end-user applications, in particular in industrial, construction, energy, telecoms and infrastructure projects.
ACS provides conveyor subsystems and components that reach facilities in Europe, USA, China, Singapore, Turkey and proudly our own domestic market in Canada. In addition to our products, we support our customer’s R&D, Engineering and safety efforts.”
